The Big Up Music & Arts Festival just announced the addition of Tipper, RAQ, Dopapod, ElectronicAnonymous, Dr. Jah & the Love Prophets, Funktion, D.V.S*, Perileyes, Technicolor Lenses, Steady Knock and Pulse Prophets to this year’s The Big Up Music & Arts Festival held on July 28, 29 and 30, 2011, at the legendary Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, New York.

They join EOTO (featuring Michael Travis and Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident), Big Gigantic, Digital Tape Machine (featuring Joel Cummins and Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee), Marco Benevento Trio along with Ott, Abakus, Papadosio, Orchard Lounge, The Breakfast, The Polish Ambassador, The Indobox, Kung Fu, Higher Organix, The Malah, Jimkata, Strange Arrangement, Timbre Coup, Blacklight Rukus, The Cyborg Trio and more to be announced along with a complete schedule of music and activities at www.thebigup.com.

Now in its second year, The Big Up Music & Arts Festival has already become a summer tradition for summer festival-goers seeking a unique and intimate festival experience. The 1500 acre Sunnyview Farm, with its remarkable views of the Upper Hudson Valley hills and water ways, is the perfect backdrop for this eclectic, innovative and distinct summer music festival which places a strong emphasis on culture and the arts.

The Big Up Music & Arts Festival general admission tickets are now available at $90.00 for a three-day music and camping pass. The at gate ticket price will be $120.00.

All VIP ticket purchases made by 11:59 p.m. on April 31, 2011, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a handmade and limited edition wire wrap made especially for The Big Up Music & Arts Festival by Massachusetts jewelry designer Matthew DiSpagna.
